DESCRIPTION:To mark International Women’s Day\, Nationaal Monument Kamp Amersfoort is offering special guided tours on March 8 and 9\, focusing on the around 700 women imprisoned in Kamp Amersfoort. Who were they? \n Why were they detained? And what happened to them?  \nDuring the tour\, you’ll discover the stories of four women from different backgrounds: a Jewish woman\, a Jehovah’s Witness\, a woman involved in the resistance\, and an American hostage.  \nTheir personal accounts bring history closer and offer insight into the experiences of female prisoners during wartime.    \nPractical information:\nTimes: 11:30 AM & 14:00 PM\nDuration: approx. 1 hour\nLanguage: the guided tour is also offered in English\nAdmission: free with a valid museum ticket \nEverybody is welcome to join.
